For your convenience, we will prepare personal laminated shipping tags so that you can attach them to your hides and skulls for shipment to Animal Artistry. These are especially helpful in keeping your trophies properly identified. They also help us when we are checking your shipment in.

TROPHIES FROM WITHIN THE U.S.
When sending your trophies to be mounted, please take note of the following:
- 1. Be sure that the items being sent are properly preserved (click here to contact us for info).
- 2. Wrap the salted hide in burlap or cloth. Any moisture trapped in a plastic bag may cause irreparable hair slipping, or rotting of the hide.
- 3. Enclose a letter stating the following:
- Full Name
- Complete Address
- Daytime Telephone Number
- Hunting License Number
- Tag Number or Seal Number
- Fax Number
- Email Address
Make sure that every package is carefully addressed and that your name and return address appear on the outside of the package. If the contents are perishable or need immediate attention upon arrival, please mark the package accordingly.

TROPHIES FROM OUTSIDE THE U.S. – AFRICA, ASIA, CANADA, MEXICO, ETC.
Trophies coming from outside of the U.S. will be imported through Coppersmith, who will contact you directly once they receive them. You will pay them for their services and then they will expedite the trophies to us.
Coppersmith will also assist you with CITES and other import/export paperwork.
All shipments originating outside of the United States should be sent to the Port of San Francisco as follows:

We suggest that you contact our Customs Broker, Coppersmith at their toll free number of 888-827-4388 immediately upon return from your hunt to provide them details of who now has your trophies. They will monitor the progress of your trophy’s dip and pack processing and arrange the transportation of your trophies to our studio. They accept all credit cards in payment of their charges.
Stewart Brown will receive in your trophies and do an inventory. He will then contact you to let you know that your trophies are at Animal Artistry and discuss your trophies and pose instructions and finalize your order. Use the pose book on this website to help with mounting ideas.
Deposit and payment
From there, we will send via email, mail or fax a deposit invoice, for 50% of the charges accompanied by a hold/harmless agreement. The deposit is non-refundable. The Hold Harmless is a standard agreement that we keep on file for every client. This needs be signed and returned with your 50% deposit and from the time that we receive those 2 things (along with your pose instructions), your 90 day turn around to completion will begin (Crocodiles and Alligators are the exception)! Once your trophies are nearing completion, we will send you a final invoice for the remaining balance on your order. The invoice gives you contact information for arranging shipment. Final payment is due within 10 days and must be received before shipping is scheduled.

From there, you can select the shipping method that you prefer (or get Stewart Brown’s recommendation) and arrange for delivery with Stewart Brown.
