Shipping Information

Trophies Harvested in the Continental USA

Items being shipped must be properly preserved — we recommend wrapping the salted hide in burlap or cloth. Any moisture trapped in a plastic bag may cause irreparable hair slippage or rotting of the hide.

All fresh skins must be shipped frozen in triple plastic bags to prevent leakage while in transit. They must be shipped to Animal Artistry on Mondays or Tuesday only, and depending on the season, should be overnighted. In some cases, second-day arrival is sufficient. Please confirm shipping times with Stewart Brown.

Please enclose a letter with the following:

• Full Name
• Complete Address
• Daytime Telephone Number
• Hunting License Number
• Tag or Seal Number
• Fax Number if Applicable
• Email Address

Ensure that your package is carefully addressed, with your name and return address clearly visible on the outside. If contents are perishable or require immediate attention upon arrival, please mark the package accordingly.

All packages must copy with all game laws and federal regulations.

Trophies Harvested Outside the USA

Trophies coming from outside of the United States are imported through Coppersmith Global Logistics, which will contact you directly upon receipt. Shippers pay Coppersmith directly for their services, and the company will assist you with CITES and other import/export paperwork.

All shipments originating outside of the United States should be sent to the Port of San Francisco as follows:

To ensure accuracy, we recommend contacting Coppersmith at their toll-free number, 888-827-4388, immediately upon return from your hunt to provide details about the current whereabouts of your trophy. They accept all credit cards in payment of their charges.

What happens after Animal Artistry receives my trophy?

Stewart Brown will receive in your trophies and do an inventory. He will then contact you to let you know that your trophies are at Animal Artistry and discuss your trophies and pose instructions and finalize your order. Visit the gallery for mounting ideas.

Deposit and payment

From there, we will send via email, mail or fax a deposit invoice, for 50% of the charges accompanied by a hold/harmless agreement. The deposit is non-refundable. The Hold Harmless is a standard agreement that we keep on file for every client. This needs be signed and returned with your 50% deposit and from the time that we receive those 2 things (along with your pose instructions), your 90 day turn around to completion will begin (Crocodiles and Alligators are the exception)! Once your trophies are nearing completion, we will send you a final invoice for the remaining balance on your order. The invoice gives you contact information for arranging shipment. Final payment is due within 10 days and must be received before shipping is scheduled.

Scoring

If you believe you have a trophy that may make the Nevada Wildlife Record Book, a list of measurers can be found on the NWRB Website.

To have your trophy measured for SCI, look for a measurer in your area on the SCI Website.

Shipping Tag Request

For your convenience, we will prepare laminated shipping tags so that you can attach them to your hides and skulls for shipment to Animal Artistry. These are especially helpful in keeping your trophies properly identified. They also help us when we are checking in your shipment.

Please make sure that each hunter identifies his or her trophies. It is fine to ship them together, but please initial each tag according to hunter to ensure a distinct separation. This will help us identify the trophies correctly when they get here and make your receiving and deposit invoice more accurate. Most importantly, there will be no confusion as to which animal belongs to which hunter. Please feel free to call our office directly at 1-775-323-0203 or complete this form so that we can mail your shipping tags to you.
